International Financial Data Services (IFDS)
Unit Manager – Transfer Agency - October 2004 to February 2005
· Managed client service/call centre and back office processing for four mutual fund companies.
· Ensured financial transactions processed same day and non-financials within two days with minimum 98% accuracy.
· Created performance agreements with subordinates including goal setting and developmental plans with bi-weekly one-on-one feedback sessions (including call coaching, call monitoring, and mentoring).
· Planned human resource requirements to recruit help as needed during high-volume periods or allocate personnel to other teams during slack periods to meet overall companies needs.
RBC Dominion Securities
Supervisor of GIC & CSB Department - January 2002 to October 2004
· Coordinated savings bonds campaigns including: communications (publishing internal/external), reporting for daily sales, remitting settlements, balancing accounts, coordinating delivery of electronic files and opening/closing campaign trading systems with designated departments.
· Oversaw major projects including Canada Savings Bonds Conversion of 117,000 certificates to non-certificated investments and implementation of Cannex system for electronic settlement of GIC orders.
· Reviewed performance with employees including; setting goals, providing feedback, reward/recognition and coaching/training as required.
· Balanced Firm’s purchase and redemption control accounts monthly for GIC’s and CSB’s.

Operations Generalist Training Program - June 2001 to December 2001
· Completed six month rotation through the operations departments in preparation for a senior level position.
· During the first three month term, I learned the main functions of the Mutual Funds Department: order entry and trade process flows, PAC/SWP set up, mutual fund trading desk and reconciliation.
· During the second term in the Cage Department I gained experience in ZCBC book value accounting for non-registered investments and Bond/GIC Interest, Dividends and Tax Reporting.
RBC Dominion Securities
Client Accounting Coordinator - May 2000 to June 2001
· Provided client service and administration within call centre for registered plans for three Vancouver branches.
· Fostered and maintained excellent working relationship with investment advisors, their assistants and branch managers.
· Processed all types of entries with respect to registered plans including: swapping assets between accounts, RRSP contributions and de-registrations, RRIF and LIF payments, home buyer’s withdrawals, marriage breakdown transfers.
· Coordinated service issues with other departments, to ensure quick resolutions to all client/IA inquiries and referred problems to management where necessary.
Financial Concept Group (now Assante Asset Management) - Client Services Representative - September 1998 to May 2000
· Liaised with Clients, Financial Advisors, Branch Managers and other financial institutions as the initial point of contact to resolve all issues related to clients’ accounts.
· Logged call centre queue calls to an in-house computer tracking system for accurate statistical reporting.
· Identified and reconciled trading errors, systematic investment plan problems ensured accurate account transfers and corrected any new account issues.
· Coordinated back office conversion project between head office, our branches and Merrill Lynch.

· Reconciled errors between our head office system and the mutual fund companies’ systems.
